Buffalo Training Camp and Snake Farm

This tour departs in the morning with a private van transfer to Mae Rim. We visit the Buffalo Training Camp, who’s aim is to conserve Thai buffaloes and demonstrate the way of local villagers planting and harvesting rice, how they train and tame their buffalo to work in the rice field, including the techniques of riding a buffalo. Next, visit an orchid farm. Then continue to Mae Sa Snake Farm. Here, various species native to Thailand, are collected and researched. Snake handlers show a variety of non - poisonous and poisonous snakes, with cobras being the highlight, during a 30-minute show.

Balloon Flight over Chiang Mai

Enjoy the sensation of flying over farmlands, lakes and forest land during a hot air balloon ride with Balloon Adventure Thailand. Balloon flights depart early in the morning before the earth heats up. Due to thermal conditions, this exhilarating adventure is available only during a limited time between end of October and mid/end of February each year. Pick up from hotels to the launch site is usually between 06:00 and 06:30AM. Coffee / tea are served while the crew prepares the balloon for take off. Flights last around 75-90 minutes and end with a balloonist champagne celebration. Each participant will receive a certificate signed by the pilot.

After a full day's excursion in the heat of the day, enjoy a delicious genuine Thai-style dinner in delightful atmosphere. The meal is accompanied by Thai classical music and dances. Once performed in the inner-court only for royalty, every hand gesture carries a separate meaning. Thai Boxing

The vicious styles of Thai boxing, which utilizes almost every part of the body to fend off an opponent, is what makes the sport unique from world boxing. Boxers are allowed to punch, kick, shove, and push by using their feet, legs, fists, knees, and elbows to attack the opponent above, as well as below the waist. Before the start of any match, each boxer performs a pre-fight ceremony to honor and show respect for their trainers, religion, and the sport itself. The ceremony involves a special kind of dance, accompanied by strident Thai boxing music, and the shouts of gamblers in the stands, betting on the outcome.

Dinner Cruise on the Manohra

Experience Bangkok at its best by cruising the historic Chao Phraya river aboard the beautifully restored rice barge, the "Manohra" and "Manohra Moon", 50-year-old rice barges that were completely re-built and restored for dining and cocktail cruising. Seating is set for 40 guests only to ensure an intimate experience. The boats depart from the Manohra Cruises pier on the river frontage of the Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa and pick up at the Oriental Public Pier and the Taksin Public Pier.

Dinner Cruise on the Loy Nava

Dinner on the Legendary "River of Kings". Dine aboard the Tahsaneeya Nava, a unique and beautiful antique teakwood rice barge, and cruise along the historic Chao Phraya River, which flows between the ancient and modern capitals of the kingdom and is the focal point for festivals and royal ceremonies. Celebrate a romantic evening on the majestic River of Kings. It’s an experience of Thailand you will never forget. Guests are welcomed aboard by traditionally attired hostesses with a rose-water sprinkling ceremony. Scented cool towels are offered to guests to refresh themselves. During the candle-lit romantic and sedate cruise along the Chao Phraya River, traditional kim music (Thai xylophone) is played gently in the background. The boat is noted for its floral appearance, featuring fresh and cut flowers from all over Thailand.
