Coral Island is a popular daytrip destination found 9 km off the southeast coast of Phuket. The main beach gets busy in the daytime, with many snorkellers, water-skiers, para-gliders and sunbathers enjoying the nice sands and clear shallow waters. Diving offshore can be done as well. Transfer from your hotel on Phuket Island to Ao Chalong pier and boat transfer to Coral Island. Formally known as Koh Hae, it is usually referred to as Coral Island because of its splendid coral reefs. There are two fine beaches on the eastern and western parts of the island.
