Depart Chiang Mai to the sub-district of Mae Waang, located approximately 60 km south of the city. The road passes through rice fields, countryside villages and green mountains. The first stop is at Mae Sapok waterfall, which is an easy two-kilometers walk from the road. Visit a nearby Karen village before lunch in a local restaurant. A short drive brings you to Mae Waang River. Enjoy a one-hour rafting trip on bamboo rafts. You will get wet, so bring along a change of cloths! The adventure continues with a trek through the forest on elephant back. Then continue on foot through the jungle back to the main road for your transfer back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.
