Famous for its abundance of tropical fruits and a busy gem trading centre particularly noted for sapphires and rubies, Chantaburi is locally known as the “City of the Moon”. Vietnamese-French influence is reflecting on the shophouse architecture.
Our trip starts with a ferry ride to the mainland and a drive to Oasis Sea World to watch the exciting dolphin show. The dolphins are mainly those accidentally caught in fisherman’s nets in the Gulf of Thailand and are trained by Thai experts. Then stop at the local temple where you will have a chance to discuss about the world of Buddhism. After lunch, we take you to visit a gems dealer in town and stop at ROBINSON Shopping Centre before returning to Ko Chang.
