Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Petchburi



Depart by minibus to the Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak (1hr 30 min drive). Take a boat trip to the center of the lively floating market, where the timeless lifestyle of native Thai people can be observed along the canals. Continue to Petchburi for lunch, the visit Khao Wang, the summer residence of King Mongkut (King Rama IV). A cable car leads to the top of the hill (closed each year in June for overhaul works) and explore Khao Luang Cave, which houses 170 Buddha statues. After a visit to Wat Mahathad take a stroll and explore the traditional shop houses in the old part of town, before returning to your hotel in Cha Am or Hua Hin.
